Fast forward to 2018. France had another serious squad. Mbappe exploded onto the scene. Griezmann was leading the attack. Kante did all the dirty work in midfield. Varane, Pogba, Hernandez, Lloris - every position was covered. They beat Croatia 4-2 in the final. It was controlled, fast, and sharp. That team knew how to win.
Since then, France has stayed competitive. Mbappe is now the main man. They’ve got young talent everywhere. Tchouameni, Camavinga, Kolo Muani, Saliba - there’s no shortage of options. The system keeps working. They go into every tournament expecting to reach the final stages.
